(1) unbalanced rotary joint :Unbalanced rotary joint may be designed into a spherical shape, and day (the automatic adjustment of the center) can also be designed as a single planar shape (continuous rotation) structure (see Figure 1 and Figure 3, respectively). In either type, the internal pressurization caused by the sealing member and the thrust bearing, hydraulic coupling and thus increase the working torque. This drawback can be low pressure drop characteristics of straight-through structure and get some compensation. When the pressure drop in the main factors, while operating torque and insignificant occasions, any two unbalanced structure of which is satisfactory. If you need to automatically adjust the center, Hydraulic components ball and socket-shaped rotary joint (Figure 1) is the most appropriate. If you need continuous rotation, it is recommended to use a single plane rotary joint (Figure 2).
(2) balanced rotary joint :In the balanced rotary joint, the rotation of the rotary tubular shaft or a pressure-balanced design, which avoids the high sealing requirements, and due to the internal pressure and axial thrust bearings to produce a frictional force (Figure 3). This structure requires the drilling of the rotating shaft to form a fluid through the through-groove joint. Drilled passage produced at a significant flow resistance in the choice of this type of joint must be considered. These connectors can be well used in the high speed rotation of the need for frequent occasions denier, the friction and the heat in these areas are the main problems.
